-Monthly Health Tips-
- When confronted with a new skill the mind is often immediately resistant and loudly protests: "I can't do it". Yet don't be fooled into allowing this temporary response to become a permanent thought.
- A procrastination can take on a life of its own. The longer you allow it to exist, the more powerful it grows. Remind yourself that
whatever you're putting off is never as bad as you imagine it will be. This especially applies with exercise!
- When training your abs, 'The Plank' is a much better exercise than 'Crunches'. It engages more muscles, burns more calories, and is far safer for your lower back.
- The weather should never dictate your decision about whether to exercise or not. When it's raining and pouring, remind yourself that you're not going to melt on the way to the gym and that you'll feel fantastic after your workout!
