Aimee began teaching Yoga in 2007 in a hope to share her joy and passion with others.
Aimee believes that by observing ourselves without criticism and dropping into moments of stillness on the mat, we can find more richness and joy in our lives.
Her classes have an emphasis on playful and honest self exploration, with an enjoyable and welcoming ambience.
Alexandra is a passionate yogi, having immersed herself in yoga since 2003. Her journey took her to India, where she spent time living in an ashram and delving more deeply into her practice.
She teaches dynamic, flowing hatha classes; guiding her students to explore themselves more deeply through awareness of the breath.
Don Peers has been teaching yoga since 1995.
He has trained with leading practitioners in Australia, India and the US and while living in India also studied Pranayama and mediation.
In addition to regular classes he runs yoga retreats and teacher training programs in Asia.
Don believes that the inward journey that occurs through yoga practice is as important as the final destination.
Cecilie discovered yoga in 2001 years whilst living in the U.K as a professional dancer.
She initially intended the practice to complement her dance training with extra strength and flexibility. However she soon discovered the richness of this ancient practice.
Cecilie's classes are a flowing style class with plenty of space and time to focus on safe awareness of postural alignment and a connection to building core strength. Cecilie always ensures students of all levels feel warmly welcomed...
A certified Iyengar Yoga teacher with 24 years teaching experience, Margaret has a keen and ongoing interest in all matters pertaining to the ethical, spiritual and philosophical aspects of Yoga.
Her wealth of knowledge and personal teaching abilities has students lining up for her classes.
Margaret and her husband Glenn conduct international teaching courses in Byron Bay.
Martine has been practising Yoga since 1995 and started teaching in 1999. Orginally trained in Iyengar under Anna Prior, Martine later did her Hatha training before falling in love with Ashtanga.
She loves combining breath work with movement. Her classes are a balanced mixture of challenging poses and relaxation techniques…with a couple of upside- down postures usually thrown in the mix.
Mayumi has been practicing yoga over 10 years. Ever since her first class she was drawn to its energising and calming quality, and before long Yoga became her passion. The focus of her practice is on the breath and the meditative quality of Yoga. Her teachers include Eileen Hall, Trevor Tangye, Clive Sheridan and Don Peers among others. Mayumi enjoys seeing her students working through challenging postures with a sense of calmness and evenness of breath.
Trevor is a devoted student of Yoga and has been teaching Yoga since 1978. He originally trained in Iyengar Yoga before meeting and training with Pattabhi Jois, the founder of Ashtanga Yoga in 1988. Trevor is one of the few to be authorised by Pattabhi Jois in 2004 to teach Ashtanga.
Trevor has also practised Shadow Yoga since 2001 and has taken inspiration from the founder Shandor Remete since the 1980s.
"Yoga requires the student to apply principles of discipline and will without losing the qualities of pleasure and creativity; some patience is also required."
After Yoga became Yuki's favourite activity, he began attending numerous classes and studied Ashtanga, Iyengar and Hatha Yoga with respected teachers such as Pixie Lillas, James Bryan and Nicky Knoff.
Yuki's goal is to educate members on how to feel more relaxed and energised, and loves it when people look happier after class than they did before.
