We live in a world that rarely pauses.

Notifications, noise, movement, constant input. Even when we stop, the mind often keeps going. For many people, rest no longer feels restful. It feels restless.

This workshop is about changing that.

Not by doing more, but by doing less. Slowing things down. Creating space. Letting the nervous system settle.

Modern research supports what yoga has long understood. When we slow the breath, reduce sensory input, and move gently, the body shifts out of a stress response and into a more regulated state.

The breath is central. Slow, steady breathing signals safety to the nervous system. It can lower heart rate, reduce stress hormones, and support clearer thinking.

Stillness matters too. In a culture of constant activity, it can feel unfamiliar at first. But when the body is supported and the environment is quiet, the mind begins to settle on its own.

Slow, deliberate movement helps bridge the two. It gives the mind something simple to rest on, while allowing the body to release tension without overstimulation.

From here, meditation becomes more accessible. Not something to achieve, but something that arises naturally when the body and breath have softened.

In this workshop, we bring these elements together:

  • gentle, supported restorative postures
  • guided breathwork to calm the nervous system
  • extended stillness to reduce input
  • simple meditation to support clarity and ease

There is nothing to push. Nothing to get right.

It is a chance to step out of the noise and remember what it feels like to be steady.

In a world that is constantly asking for more, this is an invitation to do less.
