Free Community Event: The Art of Not Overthinking

Creating more space, calm and clarity in a busy mind

Sunday 20 September 10 – 11am | Elixr Health Clubs

Our minds are constantly processing, planning, remembering and worrying. Sometimes it can feel impossible to switch off.

Join us at Elixr for a special community talk with Professor Angie Chew (Singaporean of the Year 2019 and founder and CEO of the Brahm Centre in Singapore) exploring the relationship between stress, our thoughts and our overall wellbeing.

BOOK YOUR SPOT NOW

In this practical and accessible session, Angie will explore why we can become caught in cycles of overthinking and how mindfulness can help us step back from our thoughts rather than becoming consumed by them.

Rather than trying to empty the mind or eliminate stress altogether, the session will look at simple ways to create more space between what happens to us and how we respond. Angie will share practical mindfulness techniques that can be incorporated into everyday life, whether you’re dealing with a busy workday, difficult emotions or simply finding it hard to switch off.

This is a community event, and members are welcome to bring along friends and family.
