Elixr Health Clubs, Easts Leagues Club and Rally4Ever are proud to host a live panel featuring leaders from sport and fitness to explore mental health, resilience and the realities of pressure in everyday life.

This event creates space for honest, practical and human conversation around mental wellbeing, highlighting how discipline, connection and support systems can help build resilience over time.

Throughout the evening, the speakers from Elixr, Easts and Rally4Ever will bring together three distinct perspectives united by a shared focus on mental strength, community and lived experience.

Louise Pleming

Former professional tennis player and sports commentator at Grand Slams, Louise is the founder of Rally4Ever. Her work focuses on using sport and community connection to address loneliness and improve both mental and physical wellbeing. Through her charity and advocacy, she brings a strong focus on the role of connection in mental health.

William Hopoate

Former professional rugby league player and Sydney Roosters Pathways Well-Being Manager, Will is also the co-founder of Will to Succeed, an organisation involved in teaching and mentoring youth for 20 plus years from all different settings and from all walks of life. Will brings insight into managing pressure, expectations and mental wellbeing in elite environments, as well as the importance of balance beyond sport.

Richard Chew

Founder of Elixr, entrepreneur and former international karate champion, Richard shares his personal story from his memoir Chew on Life. His journey includes lived experience of clinical depression, financial hardship and personal loss, and his recovery is grounded in discipline, perspective and resilience. Richard speaks openly about navigating adversity and rebuilding inner strength.
