Trainer Session Terms and Conditions

1 on 1 Trainer Session 2 Packs have a validity of 6-months from start date and 1 on 1 Free Trainer Session Promo have a 12-month expiry from membership start date. Participation in Trainer Sessions is subject to availability. A session will be deducted from your membership on each session attended. Your membership will automatically expire once all visits are used or the expiry date is reached, whichever occurs first.

Training Session memberships will not be extended or renewed for non-usage, and unused sessions do not roll over to future Trainer Sessions or memberships. 1 on 1 Trainer Session 2 Packs are not eligible for membership Holds and each person can only have this membership once. Trainer Session purchases and unused Trainer Sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. The value of this purchase cannot be exchanged for other goods or for another tender, cash, credits, or discounts.

Trainer Sessions are not personal training and will not include body/weight measurements, fitness/strength testing or a written program. Sessions may include a consultation, movement assessment/screen and starter gym training session that focuses on technique, how to use the equipment and fundamentals.

You are required to complete a Pre-Exercise Questionnaire prior to using the facilities. You must notify Elixr of any change in your health and fitness so that your training regime can be appropriately modified. In the event of pregnancy, members must notify Elixr by completing a Pregnancy Authorisation to Exercise form and a Pregnancy Acknowledgement form before continuing to use the facilities.

You must supply your full name, date of birth, and contact information to verify your identity. A photograph or photo ID of you is required to confirm your identity each time you enter the club. Your attendance must be registered by signing in at reception prior to entry into the club.

If you are unable to attend a scheduled class booking/appointment you will forfeit one session or be charged a booking fee in line with Elixr’s Fair Booking Policy. Elixr Trainer Session users may be charged $10.00 for each no-show class and $5.00 for each late cancelled class (within 3 hours before the class start time) in addition to forfeiting one pass stated above.

Participation in any activity in the club is at your own risk. You do not have any existing condition which may prevent you from participating in your chosen activity. You will make instructors aware of any injuries or predisposing conditions which may affect my safety and/or health because of participating in activities. You will not hold Elixr Health Clubs, its employees, and/or agents responsible for any injury or loss sustained because of my activities while in the club, except to the extent that such occurred because of wilful default or negligence on the part of the Company, its agents, or employees.

Any advice and/or recommendation by an Elixr Fitness Instructor / Employee is not intended to constitute medical diagnosis or treatment, nor should it be relied on as a suggested course of medical treatment for a particular condition. If you are in doubt, you should obtain medical advice prior to commencing any exercise program.

During or immediately prior to your Membership, we may obtain certain personal information (such as about your health and your financial position). Elixr will only use, disclose, or deal with such information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. You may receive marketing correspondence via electronic transmission which may include (but not limited to) newsletters and promotional material. You may unsubscribe at any time. Additionally, for safety and security reasons, Elixr may use surveillance in common areas. You may not make any recording or take any photograph of any person without the authorisation of that person.

You must not use any Elixr facilities whilst suffering from any infections or contagious illness, disease, or other ailment or whilst suffering from any physical ailment such as open cuts, sores, or minor infections where there is a risk (however small) to other members and guests.

You acknowledge that you have read the Trainer Session Terms and Conditions and Elixr Health Clubs Terms, Conditions, Services, Rules and Regulations and you agree to abide by them. You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with sections set out in this Membership Agreement. A digital copy of my Agreement is available via the membership portal.
